Baltimore experimental hip-hop duo Infinity Knives & Brian Ennals bridge the gap between albums with soaring EP AMDIA, pushing their now-characteristic production exploration and nihilistically comic bars into thrilling and uncharted new territory.

After the runaway successes of albums King Cobra (2022) and A City Drowned in God’s Black Tears (2025) (and 2026’s special edition reissues), Infinity Knives & Brian Ennals channel rage and funk in equal measure with a new collection written and recorded between tours. The set, headed by title track “AMDIA”, pushes and pulls in the unique way Ennals and Knives form their music, known in broad strokes as a hip-hop act but in truth casting magic from the recruitment of a broad span of influences, tying a multitude of strands together to form unexpected new turns.

The AMDIA EP is the first new work by Infinity Knives & Brian Ennals since 2025’s album A City Drowned in God’s Black Tears, which enjoyed high profile acclaim with the likes of Rolling Stone, Anthony Fantano, Spin, prominent YouTube critic FD Signifier, and many more. Since then, the duo have toured with Kneecap, Dry Cleaning, and WU LYF among others. In summer 2026, Phantom Limb repressed all three of Knives & Ennals’ previous albums to a clamorous response. The duo are presently working on new music for release in 2027.
