felicita came to prominence collaborating with producers Sophie and Palmistry and his EP frenemies on Gum Artefacts. His style is ranges from extremely original, hyperactive, technicolour electronic and ambient compositions to reinvention and regeneration of archival and folk musics, in their capacities as influencial of his youth.
"...an idiosyncratic electronic artist who is part of the surreal pop collective PC Music. felicita says their musical mission is to make bold and experimental pop, combining human sensations with musical robotics. Inspired by their Anglo-Polish heritage, they fuse distorted electronics with abstracted Slavic aesthetics." - Max Reinhardt's BBC Mixtape
Recent LP Hej! features the vocals of Beyoncé producer and Chairlift member Caroline Polachek throughout. Hej! took the opportunity to expand thoughtfully into the format of an LP with themes tackling immigration, identity and his Polish folk roots in the face of the looming 'Brexit' situation. His continued work in multiple disciplines facilitated works with the Polish traditional dance ensemble Śląsk at The Barbican in London and Unsound Festival.
felicita's shows are energetic live experiences often featuring some element of eccentricity such as marzipan haze, rope lights or singing children's choirs. At times felicita opperates production elements from the audience using a controller, ipad, iphone etc.
